Welcome to InsectsDirect, a family-operated online store specializing in pet and garden wildlife supplies. Based in the beautiful county of Kent, we are a small, independent business with a deep passion for animals and nature.

 

Our journey began in 2014 when our founder first developed an interest in animal studies. By 2017, this passion had evolved into a career in the animal industry, with hands-on experience in livestock production farms, small collections, and large zoo environments. Over the years, we’ve worked with a diverse range of species, including invertebrates, amphibians, reptiles, small mammals, small carnivores, and hoofstock.

InsectsDirect was established in 2021, following our founder’s graduation with a Foundation Degree in Zoo Husbandry and Management, and later, a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Management. This strong educational background, combined with extensive practical experience, ensures that we can provide expert advice and high-quality products for your pets and garden wildlife.
